Located in West Fife, Central Scotland.
We make instrument stands from a variety of Scottish Hardwoods.
Using Elm, Sycamore, Silver Oak, Beech, Ash and Cherry.
We buy from a local sustainable source and Charitable Trust who bring together local communities, environmentalists, landowners and businesses.
In a small way we do our bit to help to develop, promote and sustain woodland resources.
We use whatever wood is available at time of purchase. All stands are treated with 'Danish Oil' to bring out the grain and then we apply a final wax coating to preserve and protect. The woods we use invariably exhibit small 'Knots' and imperfections which, makes each stand that little bit different. We try where possible to retain elements of the wood's 'Wany Edge' giving our stands an individual and distinctive look. No two pieces of wood are the same!
